The hotel and the Greeks have a lot in common: both are laid back, accept everybody, and have a special interest in living in freely. The concept of ‘be as you are, come as a friend, eat as a friend’ is typically Mediterranian, and especially Greek.

Casa Cook Rhodes is the pilot project of the Casa Cook Boutique hotel brand. Lambs and Lions spearheaded the conceptual development in close collaboration with interior stylist Annabell Kutucu and local architect Vana Pernari. The 97-rooms hotel is nestled within the small town of Kolymbia on Rhodes’ Eastern coast, within walking distance of the beach.
Set against a stretch of muscular rocky hills, the vibe is resolutely mid-century California louche with accents of exposed stone walls, timber decks and pergolas, while the bright rooms are strewn with rich textures and handcrafted details. The design character is carried through to the rooms.
Each rectangular block — either one-storey or two — is flanked by its own shimmering stretch of pool.
